Greetings and happy new year 2012!

I'm going to be occupied by school more than I thought the upcoming months and thus I lack the time needed to tend to the league as well as I'd like to. In other words, there will be no season 3 for the time being. When that time might come is yet unknown but I hope you heed my call when it's time to buckle up and brace one another again. A special thanks to Divinesia, Mishakal, Poffs, Kyem and teams PWN, SupR, F05, seeN, YAO and Competo for participating and support. Good luck with all your future endeavors.

Phew! The regular season is now over and it's time to find out who are the best of season II!

Congratulations to the following teams for making it top IV:

    1. PWNanza
    2. Figure05
    3. Competo Sports
    4. YAO Gaming

Even though one match is left unplayed between F05 and Competo it doesn't really affect anything except seeding if Figure05 managed to clean sweep 7-0 so I think nobody objects if we start the ... Read more »

    Hello,

I'm sorry for not attending any FBL clan wars the last week because I was busy with the ASUS ROG invitational tournament, in which I attended as an admin alongside with my brother. Images from the event!

For SupR - Talents this tenth week is probably the last week of the season II because the next one is a bye for us. There have been some surprising results over the weeks. For example, Talents has done an awfully lot better than the first season while Suprian has been in kind of a slump. What's more, the team that dominated the result boards for so long, Never-Ionix, have had quite mild success in the second edition of FBL. Figure05 has bolstered their line up with a couple of very strong players while their original was anything but weak to begin with it is no surprise they are leading the score board of the second season when we enter the tent ... Greetings gentlemen and Huntress!

It's been a while I clicked "add news entry" button here. I can't say I've been busy with real life stuff — on the contrary. I've simply been slacking off but I think it's a sentiment characteristic for the general appearance and performance of most of the teams. We had only one match left unplayed in the first season whereas in the 2nd edition of First Blood League it seems to be more of a rule than an exception to have one match unscheduled & ignored each week.

People have been asking about Flai-Gaming if they are still in the league and I guess it's pretty obvious by now they are not going to finish what they started. Thus, I've erased said team from the schedule, results, battlereports and team profiles. The reason for the boot is simply the inability to schedule and play games on time. I was ready to put our differences aside and gave overtime to get Flai back on track after the Flai vs Nom incident but unfortunately it s ... Read more »

    Greetings lads!

Now that we have brand new format and new teams on season 2, we`ve discovered that uploading replays is kinda lazy and some cw:s starts without us admins even knowing it.

Just a reminder: scheduling cw should put on site as soon as possible. This helps admins to put lineup on sites when the cw starts, helps to be around when cw starts, and furthermore: helps also teams to get cw:s played with smooth lines. Scheduling cw:s also consists of putting lineups on leagues email: firstbloodleague.gmail.com. This helps all the things mentioned above as well.

After the cw winnerteam has done great job putting score on sites, but what is still lacking, is the replays. Why is this important? This is important cause replays makes this league better. It also improves us as a person. Well not excatly that, but holding good replaypack of one league actually boosts league insanely. Plus that, admins and every fan gets opportunity to look his idol, ... Read more »

    Greetings!

The first week of the league is now behind us and I think we can applaud ourselves because every match was played as scheduled. We've also managed to store almost every replay from the first week (deranging vs challengers replays missing).

The more observant people have probably noticed there are "byes" in the schedule. What do they represent? Unfortunately, the Russian powerhouse BruTeam decided to drop out from the league for personal reasons and I didn't find a substitute quickly enough. However, one free week for everyone is not that bad, is it. So "bye" means you do not have an opponent in that play round.

I would also like to notify all the team managers to check their team profiles and correct them because some of you used players that are not listed in your team profile sheet. Please fix it by adding them in a comment below your team profile.

    Salutations gentlemen!

In the past weeks I have been contemplating a lot do I really have the time, the energy and above all, the will to pull this thing through once again. After reflecting my experiences and the positive feedback from the first season the answer to those questions is yes, yes and YES.

I see twelve strong and mighty factions before me! The Northern Maniacs from the vast and deep forests of Finland who fight and overpower their foes with sheer madness and fury! And the Phenix Gamers of the French who are infamous for their ability to turn even the most seemingly hopeless situations into a glorious victory like a new phoenix bird rises from the ashes of its old self. What about the Pwnanza? Isn't their very name the definition of victory? Without any further due I present you the second season of the First Blood League!

There will be some major changes to how this league is run in the next season. Remember to check out the "league ... Read more »

It`s easy to say: Pwnanza was not the one to expected to win Season 1 when half of the league was played. Suprian and Nio (former Yoyotech) we`re the ones who would take positions one and two. But still, Pwnanza convinced normal season won`t mean anyhing when comes the real games.

In their first set against Suprian battles raged all seven game long, where Pwnanza came to take upperhand. Practically it was onva vs Pwnanza, where Chobo took really tight game seven and this led to Suprian to battle for the third spot.

On other game Playoffs round1 Nio advanced to finals after seven really hard game as well. On final game Valckrie scored for his team, leading finally Nio to finals. Really tight game as well, I recommend replays with great enthusiasm.

On bronze games Suprian and seeN had to find their mental strength after hurtful 3-4 losses. Solitude took long 40 minute long game and took seeN to 1-0 lead, but then came Lumen, the hero of this match. ... Read more »
