Wednesday 13.7.2011 was day to remember on FBL. Two great cws we`re held almost at the same time.

Suprian and Pwnanza started their cw with clash while Core and Scream fought it on Enigma. Game seemed to go for macro game, but fast push from Scream (after it seemed Core will win the game) suddenly ended first battle. Second game on Crevasse was bit strange as both did macrobuild, but bit by bit Scream was able to take Lumen down. Therefore Pwnanza was on it`s way to easy victory - 0-2.

Third match was again on Suprian hands while Scream was having hard time versus Divinesia on Typhon Peaks. Nevertheless Scream pulled the game nicely in the end leading his team on a 0-3 win - Scream making ak again?
On fourth match entered a warrior named Onva on battlefield. In Bel Shir Beach Onva started his journey to his second ak of the league (!). His mindgame set was too much for the rest of the players as well and Onva did insanely nice job leading his team Supri ... Read more »

In first cw of the week seeN put hard evidence of their skill versus Insane sectoids with their champion Frosti. Frosti took fastly 4-0 result for his team, leading seeN to take 4-1 win and to overcome uber, one of last weeks hero.

Second cw was fought between Suprian and Growup. Suprian took it`s biggest weapon in the battlefield directly. And what Onva did? Pretty fast 3-0 and lots of enemies and fans to his side. After this cw came in it`s breakpoint when Siri entered the battlefield. After some nice builds Siri managed to take his team in the 3-3 situation - from 0-3 situation (!) On final game of the cw Lumen took tiebreaker in his name and finally led Suprian to win 4-3. Epic series.

On third game Yoyotech versus Figure 5 one name shined the most: Hamster. He led his team to 3-0 win and though Figures Krr fought insanely nice winning Hamster and Blader, it was Valckrie who finally sealed the deal: 4-2 win for Yoyotech, maybe the greatest favourite to tak ... Read more »

The first week of the league is over and all things considered teams played their matches in time. Most wars were played in good spirit and people behaved well. Some team managers were more active than the others and I'd like to reward seeN.Matman with +1 reputation for being the best manager of the week. :D

About Ghosting and observers:

Please keep these thoughts to yourself and don't start openly accusing others for cheating without good reason. Branding people as cheats is a lot easier than lifting the shade of doubt. You can notify your concern to the match admin after the war and we will look through the replays. Naturally, blatant cheaters will be banned for good so it is better to play the war 'till the end and leave the judging to judges.

1stbloodleague started out with Seen vs Growup cw. Growup|Moralez started cw strongly making it fast to 3-0. After that Solitude was able to pick couble wins raising the hope back to seeN. On sixth map Growup|Siri thought otherwise and managed to pull out 4-2 win for Growup.

On second cw of the week SupR-clan clashed as Suprian and Talents fought from their places underneath the stars. Favored team Suprian lost first map, where Talents|Kalinski was able to defeat Capu. After that Suprian|Onva took the strings and made first AK of the league - leading Suprian to 4-1 victory over Talents.

In third cw, one of the league`s favourites to win, Yoyotech, took down Pwnanza 4-1. It already seemed as Yoyotech would take fast win as their hero, Blader took his team to 3-0 lead. I have decided to change the description of rule number seven (#7) a bit. Originally the rule states that a confirmation e-mail must be sent to firstbloodleague@gmail.com so that we admins can keep track on the upcoming matches.

However, from now on you can use the scheduling forum and confirm the time and date there. I strongly advice for both parties to say something along the lines "yes, ok, that's fine" so everyone knows both have agreed to the said time. Naturally, you can still confirm the matches through e-mail too.

First time for everything folks.

There are still some minor tweaks to be done but all things considered the site has now the bare minimum to run the league. Here is a list of few things off the top of my head that still need some work:

- the admin team could still use few more members
- I have made inquiries with a couple of teams but there are still some spots to be filled
- we are in need of a streamer and a shoutcaster (not necessary, though)
