The regular season is now over and all I can say is wow what a ride it's been. There have been upsets, few favorites, underdogs and above all, great games that deliver :) Only one match was forfeited completely ( Growup vs F05 week7) and for that Growup is barred for the next season of First Blood league. Even if you have lost your chance at winning you can still have an impact on the rest of the teams involved and it's unfair to give one team a free pass. I have updated the scoreboard and some of you may wonder why this is the top four. After all, three teams have got the same amount of points. First seed: Nio - Never-Ionix 2nd seed: SupR - Micronae Supremacy 3rd seed: PWN - Pwnanza 4th seed: seeN - Starcraft 2 I explained it a bit in my previous news post how I am going to decide the top four. First and foremost, I am looking at the overall maps won ie. the score plain and simple. Secondly, if there are multiple teams with the same amount of points I look at previous weeks' battle reports and check the match between the the two. Now there are three teams with the exact same score. However, that doesn't still determine the 4th seed because IS won figure05 but lost to seeN, seeN won IS but lost to F05 and F05 won seeN but got defeated by IS. The third deciding factor to determine the one that proceeds to playoffs is the amount of clan wars won. Both IS and seeN got four victories under their belt whereas F05 has got only three. Unfortunately, the question at hand is still unclear who proceeds when seeN and IS seem even. My reasoning is that because seeN beat IS in the regular season seeN should proceed to the finals. THE PLAYOFFS TOURNAMENT BRACKET: Playoffs will be a 4-player single elimination tournament with a bronze match played in a span of two weeks. The top three finishers of the first season are automatically qualified to the next season. The maps will be the same for both weeks of the playoffs. 1. Pinnacle Grove 2. Typhon Peaks 3.
